“I’m not good enough.”
“No one will ever love me.”
“My life has no meaning.”

Whatever lines are fueling your depression, I’m here to help. I know from personal experience—the “not good enough” narrative ruled my life for years—how debilitating it can be to wake up each day wishing you hadn’t. I know what it feels like to live with a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach day in and day out.

Depression and SI treatment with me looks like:

A therapist who truly gets it. I’m not afraid to talk about these topics. Did you miss the part where I said it’s personal? That included SI.

Deep work to understand the roots of your depression & SI. Who hurt you? What happened to you that made you believe you weren’t worthy?

Neuroscience. Understanding how your brain works, and how repeat thoughts can gain momentum (i.e., “neurons that fire together, wire together”) can help demystify the helplessness that may come with chronic depression. You aren’t helpless. Sometimes our brains have thoughts outside of our control, but we can reverse that!

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. What proof of not being enough, of not being worthy of love, of not having meaning exists? What proof is there that supports the opposite? What new thoughts can we have about ourselves?

Identity exploration. Who are you? What makes you happy? What are the things you love? What are the things you hate? What’s something you always wanted to do but have been too shy to start? We’ll explore every part of what makes you who you are and find ways to prove you are more than enough.

Resource Building. We’ll build an infinite toolbox of all the things that work to challenge those thoughts and feelings. For my Millennials, think of it as Barney’s Bag that held a never-ending supply of wonder.
